Private residence overlooking Pacific Ocean

Distributed by Pacific American Lumber in Hawaii, Accoya was specified for the siding, gate and door cladding of this 8,000 square foot home overlooking the Pacific Ocean on Kahala Beach in Honolulu. The mid-century modern high-end home took on a more commercial method of building combining a steel structure, metal-framing, concrete floor, walls and roof with Accoya wood to contrast and soften the cool materials. A big plus, Accoya wood is able to withstand the year-round sun and salt water, which are important characteristics.
