AFTER - by moving the back door from this corner (it used to be where the mixer was), it allowed for a generous run of countertop and some great pantry storage. Notice the wooden box on the wall? It's an original feature of the house. It is a bell system so you can ring the maid in the kitchen to bring your evening cocktail to whatever room you are in! We were sure to save that!
