Stone Fireplace
Here we had an old blocked off fireplace that even Santa didn’t want to slide down because it was so ugly!!! I ran electrical lines for the new unit that came with a remote control. Additional lines were ran for the wall sconces. After the fireplace unit was installed I framed it out around the old brick, sheathed it with concrete board and installed Cultured Stone. Pointing the stone and cleaning them is tedious but very important. Adding a mantel and crown moldings always add a nice touch. I bet the stockings were stuffed with toys that first year.
