The Mushkila Bed
The Mushkila Bed is an inspired Brutalism design. In the design process of this bed several elements have to come together perfectly and that is especially difficult as each piece has to be cut by hand.
As each piece of the bed is hand cut from various wood types it is then stained. The beauty of the wood is that each piece picks up stain differently creating light to dark hues. These pieces are then placed and eventually installed on another piece of solid wood which, in this particular commission, was Ash.
Each bed is completely hand made and made to order so essentially any dimensions are available.
