Tranquil Tides

This is the client’s parents’ bedroom and inspired by the Kew Botanic Gardens of London. It emanates a deep sense of peace and calm, perfect for the elderly couple. We placed a large slab of intricately patterned marble from Royale Impex and used it as an accent wall. It’s reminiscent of ocean waters and brings the healing power of water. This itself is framed by a light oak panelling with dark green inlays. The engineered wood flooring is in a similar shade. Across the bed is a floor to ceiling wardrobe in white with a niche in the middle in wood finish. This could be utilized to flaunt art, knick knacks or even double up as a dresser. The wall by the bed is a delight to behold. In light ferny green, an elegant row of arches stand sentry as if watching over this mystical garden. A concealed door leads to the washroom and the colonnade merges with a mirror which simply elongates and doubles this gorgeous setting.
