Europe meets California in this new master bathroom design. The owner wanted an updated, contemporary feeling that didn’t push the limits of her Mediterranean home too far. Buttery stone planking welcomes visitors into the space. A custom, mirrored wall surrounds built-in medicine cabinets and chunky, cantilevering shelves that offer space for towel storage and decorative touches. Extra thick countertops with minimal overhang and mitered edges help communicate a clean and calming feel.
