This client had a unique situation. He needed iron bars to go from knee wall to ceiling on his basement steps. We designed the long iron bars to be larger than the normal balusters due to the length and for the necessary strength. We accompolished this by using 1" square tubular iron bars and we had to attach the back of the curved handrail directly to them.
