We built this fireplace to add character to this country property but laid the bricks chevron style in the base for an on-trend effect.
The mantel piece started life as part of a tree on Brownsea Island that was sent to Birmingham to be cut then somehow made it's way back to a reclamation yard in Salisbury where the owners brought it back to it's home county!
