Whimsical Tahoe Cottage - Red painted/distressed custom island
To make this island appear to be a piece of furniture, rather than just cabinets, we added a pop-out bar area supported by carved legs and an apron under the Caesarstone countertop, arched kicks around the base of the island to cover the base of the cabinets; and we picked a Woodmode distressed red painted finish to set it apart from the rest of the kitchen cabinets.
