Whitewashed driftwood mantel & bookshelf
As seen in the "before" photo, this fireplace and built-in bookshelf were dated and lackluster. A stone block treatment on the marble surround, as well as darkening the firebox with paint were the first steps toward the transformation. Next, a whitewashed driftwood effect for the woodwork in this home on Skaneateles Lake made all the difference!
