This was an awful, dark garage with cement-block walls and concrete floor. Renovation to writer's studio by Jay Niles of Gainesville, Florida. Furniture by Steve Lord of Micanopy, Florida. Wood pieces, including the writer's desk and 12-foot workspace along south wall, crafted from river-recovered heart-pine from Goodwin Co. in Micanopy, Florida. Flooring is antique heart pine (barn-recovered) from Goodwin Co., installed by Matt Marwick of Precision Floorcrafters Inc. in Ocala, Florida.
