柱、梁の構造材は、地元東京多摩産のスギの無垢材を採用。無垢の木材と漆喰壁の自然素材と建て主様自ら古家具屋で見つけたお気に入りの古い和家具や火鉢がとても相性よくなじんでいます。一階のリビングに接して３畳の和室を配置、和室の上は中二階の子供部屋。
