Libby is simply fantastic. She nailed our design from the start with very few modifications. She really got to know us and interpreted our style. She saved us so much time and money by helping with the decision process and I trust her completely. She will definitely be our first call on the next phase of our design. She is so knowledgeable and works well with the contractor to keep everything as it should be. A true professional. We are forever grateful for Libby transforming our conveniently-located property into our dream home, sanctuary and retreat!

Elizabeth Parks is a pleasure to work with. As photographer for one of her projects, her requirements were well-defined and when delivered was highly appreciative. She needed a particular set of shots and that was all she asked me to do. (I had to add a few more to meet houzz.com's Photographer Network's quoted minimum number of shots.) Her expertise, creativity, and prompt responses to e-mails, questions, and other forms of communication made me feel an important part of the project and made my work so much easier.

We completed an entire home renovation with Libby's help and collaboration. Her knowledge and appreciation of classic architecture and her ability to maintain the integrity of a particular style is evident throughout our home. From the attention to the fine detail for trim and window casings to the complicated math required for elements of structural support - to the many iterations of cabinet design and layout, Libby's sense of proportion and consideration of functionality was invaluable. Working with all the different trades and always open to input from both tradesmen and client, her willingness and ability to collaborate as a team made the whole process a pleasure. As there is always something else that we'd like to renovate or design, we continue to look to Libby for her professional advice and personal support.

We are so happy with the renovation that Libby designed. It involved re-organizing the kitchen/dining room space by removing a wall and adding a peninsula and a sliding glass door. We now have a brighter, more functional and spacious living area. Originally, we had been thinking about building an addition, but Libby's solution accomplished our goals for much less money. She was very pleasant and patient throughout the process, and explained the implications of a variety of designs. She met all of her deadlines. We continue to get compliments on our renovation. We couldn't be more pleased!

Elizabeth is such a delight to work with. Her business ethics are high, her creativity and problem solving skills are much appreciated. In particular, when deadlines came up, Elizabeth came through. Overall, Elizabeth provided us with excellent architectural service, in a way that gave us not only value, but creative design and thinking outside the box, and always able to solve any issues that came up.

She is an excellent architect who works extremely hard to get the job done. Her communication skills are second to none and she has always responded back within 24 hours. She knows how to research the work that is in front of her and always comes up with an answer that solves the situation at hand. I have recommended her to many friends and customers.

Building Castles Inc

As a general contractor for the past sixteen years I have worked with several architects on some quite large residential projects. I have found Elizabeth Parks to be one of the best. She is an excellent listener & communicator, very creative with an outstanding knowledge of authentic restoration including all aspects of remodeling and new construction. I can't wait for our next project together!

Commented: I would love to know the name of the wall color and the brand please.Hi, The walls are "Stony Ground" by Farrow and Ball, chosen to respond to the stone in the fireplace and compliment the grey-washed oak flooring.

Commented: Front of house railings.These railings could definitely be used outdoors - you would want to make sure that the finish is sealed or allow them to weather.
