We got 3 bids on a large paver patio, and Hackmann was right in line with other contractors in the area. We went with them because of the bid process, and could not be happier. Matt was fantastic to deal with from the first time we met him, and even after completion of the project he personally came out to address a couple of pavers on the steps that were slightly uneven. The crew was very efficient and professional, completing the project in less than 2 work weeks. We would highly recommend, and will be using Hackmann again in the future.

Dale and his team built a new ~300 sq ft paver patio for us. It includes a fire pit and a seating wall and some plants around it. We're really happy with the result. The patio looks great and we've enjoyed many nights out by the fire so far. The neighbors have come over and complimented how great it looks. Everyone involved in the process was very professional and friendly. Dale worked us into the schedule within just a few weeks of us deciding to go ahead with it and the work proceeded quickly to completion. I believe the cost to be very reasonable and was at least 25% less than another estimate we got. There were no surprises in the cost. Dale gave us an estimate and stood by it 100% (aside from additional features we requested after the fact). We plan to (and have already) recommend this company to others and we plan to use Hackmann Landscape again for future projects. Thanks!

I got an estimate for a really good deal but when I called to set a weekly schedule they were unable to make an appointment because the person who does the planning was away on leave. I hired someone else but when someone from Hackmann came down to give me a second estimate I told him I had hired someone else and no longer needed their services. A week later the same person comes to start cutting the grass. My cousin caught him before he could cut more than one strip of grass. We both explained to him that we hired someone else and don't need their service. He left after finally understanding but was back out doing it again a week later. We stopped him again and have not seen him since. Today I received an invoice for overdue services. I told them three times I did not need their services and now they send me a bill for work they didn't do. If they can't figure out who their clients are I definitely do not recommend them.

Hackman Lawn was highly recommended by a friend. And I was not disappointed. Both my front yard and back yard required a severe clean-up and a new look in some areas. Hackman listened to my thoughts and what I hoped could be accomplished - attractive but low maintainence landscaping at a reasonable price. Their main goal was to make sure I was happy with the work done. And their suggestions helped me accomplish some changes that I have been more than pleased with. All was achieved in a timely and professional manner. The staff was polite and hardworking. I was amazed at what was accomplished in a short period of time. We chose Hackmann Lawn & Landscape for our major landscaping project. We went with them because Dale provided the best design and the price was reasonable. The work comprised 1) completely removing all old shrubs, ornamental trees, and landscape rock/edging all the way around the house, 2) installation of new shrubbery, landscape rock, and mortared edging per the new design, 3) installation of a rather large flagstone patio, and 4) mulching outlying shrub beds. Dale's team was professional, hard working, and very responsive to questions. The work was finished on time. We are more than pleased with the result and would highly recommend them.
