Kaufman Segal Design

This past year we downsized from our traditional family home to a townhouse for empty nesters. It was very important to us that we have a new look and feel in addition to a set up that would allow us to do what we love to do the most – – – entertain family and friends. Kaufman Segal Design worked with us to select beautiful contemporary furnishings and finishes while incorporating our art and some other pieces that we wanted to bring along with us. A highlight was the build out of a kitchen closet into an open Butler’s pantry with cabinets, countertops, floating shelves and a microwave convection oven. The KSD team was a delight to work with. They were energizing, fun, responsive and conscientious. We love our new space and our friends and family do too!

i met the designers when i interviewed them for an article. I saw so many great examples of their work--traditional and contemporary and how they worked that I knew when I needed help from afar they were the team to ask for help. They've done everything from suggest paint colors to wallpaper, pick out chairs and fabrics and more, for me and my mom. If I lived closer I would involve them for major remodeling projects. I recommended my daughters consult them and they have. They will always be our family design experts. They work within a budget, too.

I was referred to Kaufman Segal Design by a very dear friend who had a great experience working with them. I needed to furnish and decorate my loft space which I moved into over 5 years ago and had done absolutely nothing with. Not knowing how long I am going to stay in this apartment, I didn't want to do any construction. I needed to furnish the entire space and I wanted the furnishings to be pieces that I could take with me when I move to a more permanent space. Kaufman Segal removed all the stress and actually made the entire process fun. Any issues were resolved quickly, completely, and to their high standards. I love my space and cannot wait to work with Kaufman Segal again in the very near future!
