Commented: Window seat curtain help!I would mount some fabric shades outside the frames of the windows and above so that when raised they appear as a valance and only take up a bit of the window opening.

Commented: Living room modern style, possible?Honeycomb shades are an affordable and functional way to clean up the walls. The top down bottom up feature is great for privacy while allowing light into the room.

Commented: how to arrange my living room?You could fill in that space with a geometric area rug. Also I've done homes where we will move the sofa forward and place a console behind it with decorative accessories atop it.

Commented: Drapes in the Dining Room and Library or not?Fabric Shades are a great substitute for drapery. They have a smaller profile making the room feel bigger and when raised create a valance look.
