“We have used Ed for both of our renovations and have found him to be a great architect. For our first project we used Ed for both the design and the project management of a small renovation. We loved the design which dragged a 1970s monstrosity of a house (think lots of mission brown and wood panelling) right into the 21st Century. Tweaks that Ed made to layout just made the house 'work'. We were exceedingly happy with the result. Ed and his team worked tirelessly behind the scenes so that while we had the usual decisions to make, any of those problems that inevitably turn up on the site were solved before they hit our radar. Our second project was based in Sydney (see Ed's project titled 'Springfield' ) and although we spoke with some local architects we didn't get the same comfortable feeling as we had with Ed. Our second renovation was a major undertaking on a heritage listed house where there had been multiple renovations done in the past and little coherence. The floorplan had small spaces left over that had no practical use and the house was very tired. We extended but only by a small amount but again by rationalising the floorplan we have ended up with a much more usable space. The end result is a gorgeous home. This time I was the project manager but Ed and his team remained on call through-out for whenever my builder or I had any queries. What I love about Ed is that we have achieved a great balance between gorgeous design and practicality. The space looks fab but it is also easy to live in and we love that!”

“I was recommended to contract Cameron Bell of Belcro Group for all elements of my project- an extensive house renovation , and extension with landscaping ,in the coastal location of Lorne. Right from the very first meeting I was impressed by Cam’s easy going nature ‘can do’ approach and extremely positive attitude. “Positive Footprints have done an outstanding job from the design stage right through to the building process. The house is on a small inner city block, with heritage and overlooking restrictions. My brief was for a sustainable house, with flexible spaces, outdoor vistas; which was light filled and capitalized on its northern sunny orientation. Extending only two meters kept the garden as large as possible. Three upstairs decks increase outdoor living, cross ventilation and the vistas of sky. Positive Footprints were professional, open and helpful; and provided impeccable craftsmanship. They enabled me to incorporate my mosaic tile designs, the use of unusual materials and other personal interior design choices. A melding of their inspired, sustainable design and my creative input, has resulted in a beautiful and comfortable house which is a pleasure to live in.”

“Dianne has assisted me on a number of projects over the years including a brief to repurpose our home to a B&B. Dianne came up with practical yet fabulous designs from inception to final drawings. The most remarkable project Dianne undertook for me was to assist me when selecting the colour palate and fittings for the internal and external finishes for our new home build. It was a task I was dreading as making the wrong choices would not only have been costly but we would have had to live with the wrong decisions for a very long time. It was fantastic seeing Dianne at work, her eye for colour and detail meant that we motored through the whole day appointment in a few short hours and the results, now that we’re in our home, are totally fabulous.”
