“This is a review of the house design that Bill Chesshire did for me in Severna Park, Maryland. His design is unique in that it it a one story with high ceilings so the feel is great spaciousness. The master bedroom is huge with a walk-in closet that has plenty of hanging space for clothes. My main bathroom is completely functional with a walk-in shower with no step down. The floor just flows into the shower area. When guests step in the front door, they get the whole view at once, looking straight back to the huge, high kitchen windows, which also gives a person, a quick glimpse of the beautiful setup of the kitchen even before they get back to that area. I am so enjoying living here.”

“Karen at Transforming Architecture was reccoemnded by my real estate agent as she had done work on his home. At our first meeting she gave us an idea of the scope of the projects she has accomplished and the fee structure. She really listened to our ideas and concerns for our kitchen renovation. Karen presented 3 visions for our renovation, one with exactly what we asked for and then two other options. The third design presented involved moving our kitchen and creating an open floor plan. This was beyond anything we could have imagined o our own and made the best use of the space and our renovation dollars. We are currently under construction but Karen is readily available to answer questions and make edits to the design. It is a pleasure to work with her and I can't wait to see her vision come to fruition.”

“I would highly reccomend Cathy Cherry. I had the pleasure of working with her on a house that she designed for Baldwin Homes for the Maryland Green Show Home. The area that I designed and furnished was the Kitchen, Eat-in Area and Great Room. I love how she designed the areas to be an open floor plan. I find that homeowners in this area of Maryland like open floor plans because it is a more interactive but, casual way of life. When I heard that Cathy was designing the home and wanted it to be a "tidal" home I knew that her style would fit hand in glove with my "Chesapeake Cozy" style. The architectural detail on the home was top notch. In my area, I particularly loved the strong columns. I repeated the detail in my custom built-ins flanking the fireplace.
