“Do you remember Mrs. Haversham's home from Great Expectations? That's kind of the look we had going when Ravenscourt met with us. Overgrown, ugly bushes, construction debris from our recent remodel - our yards, both front and back, were a mess. A TOTAL MESS. Each landscaper we met with told us they had their work cut out for them. Laurin and Shawn didn't even flinch. They were not only impressively prepared with ideas and sketches when we initially met, they were also very reassuring about our chances to have more curb appeal and a serene backyard to relax in. After we first met, they created a gorgeous design - one that took into account all the things we wanted from our spaces - and a thorough budget that included explanations for each category or item. Total pros - these two. We hired them immediately. I can tell you now that we have been able to enjoy our yards for over a month that we're so glad we did. Our front yard is now beautiful and inviting. The back is like being on a vacation. Each space reflects our style, personality and the beauty of our remodeled home. We have a place to plant veggies, pretty trees to look at from the inside of our home, and best of all - no more overgrown bushes! Do yourself a favor and get these two to make your yard awesome.”

“Kara and my design team at The Design Firm were excellent. I appreciated all the hard work put in by everyone and I was very impressed by the extent they took to take care of our liking. Even when a few things did not work out, replacing the accessories was no problem. I am so so happy with the end result (especially the large painting). “I had 40 year old galvanized pipe finally give up, resulting with the kitchen and dining room ceilings falling in, right before our sons wedding, with all sorts of relatives coming to stay at our house. Great timing huh!!! GB Contractors came in an told us not to worry, that we got this. GB contractors did a wonderful job replacing the ceilings, the walls an the crown and base moulding, they ripped out the old counter tops and replaced them. They were able to salvage our 40 year old custom cabinets and refinish them, making them look better than new, they did all the work, all we had to do, was pick paint and tile colors, sinks, faucets and light fixtures, basically we ended up with a 21st century kitchen in a 20th century house and they did all this on time an within budget. Finding fantastic contractors that are good to their word these days can be difficult, my wife an I were very fortunate to find GB Contractors. We need a bathroom redone GB, give me shout when you have time.”

“RHC pretty much remodeled my whole house over 12 weeks. I had received several bids both higher some much higher and some lower. I felt the lower bids where not listening and under estimating the work involved and I would be in trouble as we went along. RHC listened, was thorough and also expressed a number of good ideas. The team was on time, worked hard, kept everything as clean as possible. Ricky checked in daily and made sure everything stayed on track. With most major projects their was some scope creep due to my wife and I coming up with new ideas, RHC listened gave us the cost of anything additional and were more than fair. There were a couple issues along the way, but Ricky stepped in and made sure everything was done right. In the end they did a fantastic job and I will use them again. The house came out better than when it was new construction. In 30 years in Houston this is the best contractor I have ever worked with. I like working with people who are friendly, fair, listen and communicate. RHC is the only team I will hire in the future. I paid them and I still feel like they did me a favor, I cannot thank them enough.”
