Looking for a good ID in such a overpopulated industry is truly the toughest part of the renovation process. Thankfully for us, we were put in touch with Jing Yi. She understood our requirements and was able to execute it flawlessly. With Jing Yi managing the entire project, there was little to no hiccups throughout the renovation process. In fact, contrary to the horror stories we read online with inexperienced IDs, nothing of that sort happen to us. And the best part of it all, she has absolutely good knowledge on the MUST DO for resale homes. For example, she told us to change our aircon pipes and thankfully we did. Highly recommended

My wife and I were looking to renovate our newly purchased condo apmt and wanted to engage an ID firm to help us design and renovate it. After doing a lot of research and reading up, our first stop was Starry Homestead because somehow this firm's name kept cropping up due to it's many good reviews! We were assigned Jason Lim and were impressed with his enthusiasm and eagerness to help us design and create our dream home. He patiently listened to our ideas and concepts, which were very confusing as we didn't even know what theme we wanted. However Jason didn't flinch and came up with a few design concepts for us to consider. We left after a couple of hours and then thought perhaps go to other ID firms to explore more options. However we felt very comfortable with Jason and decided to go back to him to discuss further after a week. During this week Jason didn't hound us or do any hardsell, which was surprising. After this 2nd visit, we were sold. Jason didn't come back to us because he was busy doing up more design concepts and ideas to present to us, even though we didn't indicate at all that we would be back. That made us appreciate there and then that we may have finally found our ID, and we were not wrong. Jason isn't the type that just listens and gives in to your design ideas especially when it is not feasible. That would be a red flag that the ID wasn't interested. During the 2 months of design discussions, he would offer ideas and at times even educated us on why some of our design ideas weren't feasible. We learnt a lot from him. He also followed us to various shops to buy lightings, accessories and tiles etc for the renovation. During the renovation process I must say I have never met such an "on the ball" project manager. Scheduling for all the different contractors involved was impeccably done with timing all fixed and fulfilled. Jason would update us of the progress almost everday and our handphones would be bombarded with progress pics, even when he was on leave! His response to our questions were very prompt and he would get down to action immediately. We were very impressed with his management skills. What impressed us most was he would sometimes without hesitation get his hands dirty to do minor rectification works like painting patches before the painter came cos he just wanted it done. We even spied him once cleaning our glass stove! That is what Jason is, a committed and responsible ID. We were indeed very blessed to have gotten Jason as our ID, and in the end we got our dream home and right on schedule. Things did not stop there. Jason continued and still continues to ask whether everything was ok and would arrange for us anything we wanted done. I have run out of thumbs to give him enough thumbs up.

We scouted 3 IDs before settling on Jingyi. Her design best fit our preference and needs. We especially like her idea of separating the living room and the rest of the rooms with the hidden corridor door masquerading as the hidden cabinets. Throughout the consultative process, JY has been patient and meticulous in going through with us on the design and material elements. Once actual works started, it was quite smooth sailing and delivered on time for our move in. The after service support has also been prompt. Overall we are happy with the way our house turn out.

Ashley is professional and understand what we want for our place. Process is hassle free, simple and straight forward. She is willing to listen to our needs and always provide professional advises. Designer will inform if there is any additional costs before they proceed to the change requests. Designer selected tiles with us for long hours with patience. Pricing is very transparent. To sum up, renovation is nicely done. Thumbs up.

Ashley was our assigned ID and she was very patient and responsive throughout the entire process. She tried her best to cater to our requests and also many last minute changes that we made. She did most of the coordination with the contractors and the different vendors and provided us a relatively fuss free renovation experience. She also tried to keep to the timeline even though we had a few last minute changes. Highly recommended!

They are one of the renown firm hence abit more pricey. Ashley was very patient and very independent. She did not disturb us much during the reno process but delivered the final project as what we have.

We selected Starry Homestead after speaking with Connie -- she was extremely quick, responsive & effective in understanding our ideas, & gave us her fullest attention even though our project was relatively small. Such professionalism exceeded that of other IDs/companies we explored. With her facilitation, we were able to progress our renovation very quickly. Connie was also very patient & understanding about our decision-making process, & she had great recommendations for any options we wanted to consider. We're happy with the final product & stress-free experience!

Being first time homeowners, we were lost to where to start for our renovation. During our first appointment, Nicky was very attentive and listen to our needs. The subsequent appointments, she came up with some designs for us to have a better idea on what to expect. She is very meticulous and provided good advice on what we should or should not do. Like most people, working from home is the new norm and therefore my wife and I needed to convert one of our bedrooms to a conducive office for work. We booked an appointment on the following day and briefly stated our requirements via their website. I received a message from ID Si Han later in the evening as he would like to take a look at our floor plan. Despite the short notice, Si Han has done his homework and showed us the concept during our first meeting. What really impressed us was the proposed concept is exactly what we had in mind. My wife and I were totally fascinated by his professionalism and proactiveness. My only complaint was that the waiting time was relatively long (slightly more than 9 weeks) but I guess it can't be helped since many of their workers are Malaysians. That said, our overall experience was definitely a positive one. Pricing is reasonable. Quality and service are topnotch. I would recommend anyone to look for Si Han if what you want is innovative design with practicality in mind.

Hi I selected Starry Homestead for my home renovation without knowing the ID. I came across Starry Homestead on magazines and so I followed their IG and really liked their work which is very much to my style. There were a few other ID that I saw but R is the one whom I can clique best as we share similar ideas and views towards home design and styling and so we are able to brainstorm together and I can share my thoughts freely without feeling stupid or being sweep aside. My requests to all the IDs are very direct – keep the good attributes in the existing flat rather than a complete overhaul, go for simplicity, practical, straightforward and smoothing vibe. I prefer sleek and functional, aesthetic clean look. Feature walls or standard TV console design are no-no for me as I want flexibility to change the home design without a lot of restrictions in future. When I first saw the sketches for my living room, I like it very much. I had not imagined that my requests can turn out so handsomely pretty and within my budget consideration. R has a good patience, he listens attentively and understands what I am looking for in my first flat, my style towards home design and my preference in color theme. He can quickly conceptualise design ideas and can marry functionality with stylishness. He has a good sense of color co-ordination and is able to recommend color to my liking and style. I really enjoy the process of conceptualizing and realizing the home design for my first flat. I am really happy with my flat. Designer Jason is very profrssional amd responsible. He gave us a lot of advice on the renovation. New house overall effect is very nice. We are quite happy with it.
