I worked with Kian Chong on the design and construction of 3 GCBs about 8 years ago. The project took over 3 years during which I got to know him very well. Kian Chong is a creative and meticulous designer who focuses not just on the aesthetic of the external design but also the functionality of the internal spaces. He is also patient and really listened to understand my requirements and preferences and worked to achieve what I wanted. He has good taste and his designs are modern, clean cut, aesthetically pleasing and functional. He is also very skilful with his hand and is able to build simple models of houses so that I could clearly visualize the houses. It was a pleasure working with him and I have more recently appointed him to do an extensive renovation of an apartment and my own residence.

Chur Kian Chong of Ta-Ke PL met us for the first time with his portfolio of completed projects, brought us to view 3 (2 completed and 1 on-going) of them and introduced us to 2 main contractors. Within that brief fortnight we already had a good idea of the requirements and procedures needed to build a house from the ground upwards. When we showed interest, he immediately set out to give us 2 schematic proposals. From there he guided us each step of the way to meet statutory requirements, assembling the handful of professions, and most importantly sieving through the tender documents to appoint the main contractor with proven track record and competitive pricing. Throughout construction of the properties, Kian Chong was always agreeable to make changes and recommendations whenever we felt the need to improve on certain aspects. It was an exciting 20-month period of learning the many aspects of building your own properties. We could not have been happier to be guilded and working alongside a patient and talented professional like him.
