Rina Mia Lim has a unique window into style and function. She sees every detail from the point of view of the end user. Rina’s styling tips are a unique combination of form and function, never compromising beauty for "getting it done". She is super creative, an excellent listener, and takes into account all the competing wants and needs that we had. We were searching for a designer who had a contemporary look, but would make the place comfortable. For us, we needed to make over our penthouse into a get away and we wanted it to be comfortable, warm and friendly. Rina’s work was on-line on Facebook and we liked it. We talked to her by phone, felt a connection and trusted her to work with us. We have not been disappointed. Our place is warm, comfortable and contemporary. We love being able to arrive here and feel immediately comfortable and relaxed. In addition, we like to incorporate specific colours and furniture that was definitely to our liking and helps to make the place our home. We know what we like, but were unfamiliar with where to source them in Singapore. Rina certainly knows where to go for what she wants. I really appreciated that our first couple of sessions together were spent just looking at things so that Rina could understand what we liked and did not like. ***In addition to designing the look and recommending furniture, Rina coordinated contractors, deliveries and installations, which all was a great relief to us. I'd give 10 thumbs up if I could, but I only have 2 thumbs so it's 2 thumbs up. Everything about Rina’s process and creative recommendations is top of the industry.

As someone who didn't quite know what to do with his own home, Rina helped laid out not just the color palette but also recommended some furniture that went along with my house. She was very patient and thoughtful of the space I wanted to have. Had really good comments on my layout and design from friends and family. Would recommend to check her out.

Rina is a personal friend and one whom I've considered to have impeccable style and attention to details having been to her apartment several times so when she mentioned that she was going into interior designing, I did not hesitate to ask if she could help out with the renovation of my kitchen. I shared with Rina the type of style that I liked and based on that, she came up with her proposed design, including the rounded island counter, down to the bar stools to go with the design. Rina would discuss and come up with ideas as to how I could lower the costs to keep within my budget while still ensuring that my requirements are met i.e. having a storage space for large items, concealing the washing machine and rubbish chute. She also coordinated and provided a detailed timeline as to when the plumber, the painter, the electrician and the carpenter would come down to work on their respective parts, ensuring a seamless workflow and when there were issues, she was quick to rectify them. As Rina is fairly new in this line, I was initially concerned that there would be issues with the renovation but I am glad to say that I am extremely happy with how my kitchen and 'display/storage cabinet' turned out.
