I recently had some minor renovation work done for my home, and I couldn't be happier with the overall experience with Designer Tommy. Despite a few hiccups along the way, the Tommy was incredibly attentive and responsive, ensuring that any issues were quickly addressed by the team. Their creativity and attention to detail truly brought my vision to life. I especially appreciated the follow-up after the project was completed, as it showed their commitment to customer satisfaction. Our IDs Alvin & Jing Yi made our dream home come to life! We've heard of so many horror renovation stories that we started our search for THE ONE 2 years before key collection (covid delayed our key collection ) We chanced upon Yang's Interior at the Qanvast event & met with Alvin who was very straight forward and clear on the pros and cons of doing certain things we want. His opinions are valued because it brought us back to reality and practicality! We basically hit it off like we were long time friends haha this rapport was really important to us! We stayed in touch & went to look for more ID firms last year but couldn't find someone suitable. The people we met were nice! It just didn't feel suitable/right for us. It was then I remembered that we had a great chat with Alvin & we contacted him to find out more. That's when we were introduced to Jing Yi who is a superb adviser with superb project management skills!! Our renovation journey has been so smooth sailing, clear, no hidden charges and fun!! It is a great pleasure to have our first home to be done by them. We're a couple who values the upfront assessment in term of feasibililty, any shortcomings to our ideas and the cost involved (whether if its worth it or not), they were transparent & we are able to decide according to our budget! We're really thankful to have met them and I really believe that fate led us to meet & become friends (hehe self-proclaimed) The reno industry is soooo big & its difficult to find a trusted company with such a big purchase for your home. Alvin & Jing Yi didn't disappoint & will make sure everything (literally) is proper - this was the experience we had!! I am thankful to work with Yangs and Tricia as my ID. Being my first time, Tricia was very patient from the start to the completion of renovation. She listened to my ideas while also pointing out to certain things which would not work out in reality. The use of modelling software at the initial discussion was very helpful in visualising the ideas vs actual space. While the renovation was ongoing, Tricia remained responsive and ensured that everything was progressing smoothly. While no renovation process can be perfect, any hiccups and unforeseen circumstances were solved timely. I also find the carpentry workmanship to be impeccable, with nothing to change or rectify after installation. Lastly, pricing is reasonable, transparent and consistent despite changes along the way. My heartfelt thanks to Jason Lim from Yang’s Inspiration Design. It is not an easy task to takeover from another ID when there was a communication breakdown between the previous ID and myself. I have to thank David for the speedy service recovery and making a site visit with Jason Lim to resolve the issue with the hacking and tiling of my toilet. Scope of project: extensive overhaul as it is a older resale flat more than 30 years old. The overhaul required hacking and full tiling for all the floors and the kitchen and toilet walls and changing of all the existing wires and water pipes as well. Replacing all windows and doors with paint works and carpentry. Jason Lim is great at communicating. He was able to explain his ideas without making it sound like the owner is being dumb, unlike the previous ID where i felt like i was getting judged all the time. For example, i thought it was feasible to relocate basin to the right hand side of the toilet based on the floor plan. Jason considered the practicality of it and took the trouble to demonstrate how it will mean that i will have to walk in a zig zag way to get to the shower and may be more prone to knocking myself against the basin. Can sense that he truly considers the practicality and that a home is meant to be lived in and that potential hazards will have to be considered. He also provides timely updates via whatsapp voice messages and videos. There was minimum miscommunication. It was very pleasant communicating with him. Minimal stress compared to my previous experience. And he is attentive and will take notes with his ipad to make proper records of any new details discussed. Jason Lim is an ID who takes pride in his job and is also armed with the necessary experience. He made the effort to check my flat and made appropriate suggestions and rectifications and i was very happy with how meticulous he was. For instance, there were quite a few defects as the flat i got was in its original condition and there was substantial wear and tear. He made appropriate suggestions on how to make my place look presentable such as those hollow portions above the door frames and the hollow portion at the master bedroom wall due to previous installation of window aircon. In addition, Jason is well equipped with technical knowledge and skills and knows how to inspect whether the renovation is satisfactory and is a breath of fresh air unlike the previous ID and she wanted me to clarify my question i asked her whether chipping was done properly during hacking. I am very satisfied with the revamped walls and the paint job was excellent as well and there was no hollow wall tiles as Jason and David inspected the site and ensured that chipping was done adequately. Thank you Jason and team for the excellent workmanship. I am very satisfied with all the aspects. Thanks for being a problem solver. We found out about Yang's Inspiration Design through Hitcheed. We have sourced through 10 different IDs before landing on Yang's. Our initial ID was CK. After evaluating, we felt CK was easy to communicate with and he will be able to accommodate to our project best. However the project is later handover to his mentor Jerie due to personal reasons. After meeting up with Jerie, we decided to continue to give it a shot. Jerie is very experienced and she was able to handle our requests. She will also suggest ideas and designs to us. The final quality of carpentry was great. There were minor hiccups along the way, but she is very quick in rectifying any issues that arose. Jerie held high standards on her workmanship. The overall work was done within 3 months albeit CNY off period. As we have no hurry for completion, she was still able to deliver the project ahead of time. The price is really competitive. It's no wonder why we chose Yang's amongst 10 ID firms. However most importantly was the ID's character, experience and taste of design.

This is my first time engaging an ID for my 1st home. It was a great experience and a learning stage. Our renovation journey with Jason & Kelvin over at Yang’s Inspiration Design has been a wondering experience all-around. Reasonably priced with no hard selling, they were really helpful throughout the whole process. Always willing to share their ideas and accommodate whatever changes inputted by us along the way, be it in terms of timeline or design-wise. Engaging Steph from Yang's Inspiration means having a one-stop shop for most of your renovation needs. Apart from giving great advice on our house layout and design, she provides numerous recommendations on where to get your household items, from bathroom accessories, kitchen appliances to water dispensers and more. Carpentry workmanship was excellent and any rectifications or touch-ups required around the house were addressed promptly. Thanks to Steph's efficiency, we moved in earlier than expected. Choosing a trustful and reliable ID is not an easy process. For us, we were recommended by a friend to David from Yang's Inspiration Design and am glad that we chose him as our ID. David is an easy-going person and has been very helpful and patient of our questions and vision of the house from the start. He would reply to our queries promptly and gave constructive inputs while always trying his best to meet our expectation. He kept us in the loop throughout the renovation process and would make time to come down whenever needed to rectify our doubts. We come to know Stephanie Yang from Yangs ID through Home by Hitcheed in 2022. We decided to go with her as we clique and felt most comfortable communicating with her! And that was when our Reno journey begins. Throughout the home reno journey, Steph has been providing us w ideas & references of how our home can be designed. Even though there were many changes along the way, she is very patient to walk through with us. Steph is very approachable and is always willing to provide us with suggestions.
