“In August 2014, we purchased a 38 year old condominium in Ottawa. We recognized the condominium would have to be completely renovated, in order that it met our needs, prior to us actually moving into it. HOME Inc. was one of three companies that we approached regarding our renovations. We chose HOME Inc. due to apparent expertise, estimates and services offered. We are very pleased that we did so. The kitchen and both bathrooms were completely designed for us and we had significant input into the design and choice of the fixtures, cabinets and tiling, etc. In some cases, we gave general requirements and left the final choice up HOME Inc. For example, the first time that we actually saw the hardwood flooring was during its actual installation. In all cases, we were pleased with the choices made for us. Our renovations were not really smooth and there were numerous times when we had to act on situations that arose. However, since we lived over a four hour drive from Ottawa, it was reassuring for us to be dealing with an organization in which we had complete trust. Based upon our experience, we would recommend HOME Inc. If we were doing it all over again, we would consider nobody else. We highly recommend HOME Inc. It was great to work with Barb and gain the assurance she provides during such a huge undertaking and expense. With her help I made choices I could live with and within my budget. Whether helping me select paint colors, meeting me at the tile store overwhelming in options, or showing where to economize and to splurge, Barb was with me step by step so that ultimately everything worked together in the end. Now, I have a kitchen that, even three years later, is still a joy to walk into, to cook in, eat in and relax in. She went beyond the norm to take time with me and help me understand what was happinging and to reflect my realities and preferences in the process. Building on her sense of optimum cabinetry arrangements and how to maximize limited space, she also brought a sense of style, design and color that helped in a big way to realize a kitchen beyond functional and modern to exciting and beautiful. “We love our new kitchen - designed by Steve at The Cabinet Connection. It is a joy to work in my new kitchen! We had a small space and he provided us with a detailed rendering of the design before work started so that we could have a great picture of the finished design - from concept to completion. Every space was professionally designed and we have optimum use of each area - from cooking to preparation to storage - all within easy reach. Steve's attention to detail and excellent customer service throughout the project was always evident. Colour ideas, cabinetry, countertops, as well as assistance with appliance ideas was extremely well done, and suited our needs perfectly.
