“When it came time to renovate our 3 bedroom Condo, what we thought would be an overwhelming challenge became a most enjoyable experience. From the day we walked into Affordable Kitchen Company, we felt we were the most important people to" The Affordable Kitchen Company Family." Everyone was so involved in working with us, meeting our budget, helping us choose fixtures, colour of cupboards, backsplash, flooring, lighting etc. Our Kitchen is exactly as we had envisioned. Perfect in every way. Along with the Contractor and Affordable Kitchen's expertise, not only our kitchen was renovated so to was the major part of our unit, Hickory floors throughout, baseboards, crown molding, new door frames and doors etc. Everyone was very professional in every way. We have and always will recommend "The Affordable Kitchen Company" and their most super employee's. These renovations took place In the fall of 2013. Now in 2015, The Affordable Kitchen Company, this spring renovated our two Bathrooms. Again a delightful experience. Quality, Professional, timely, on budget. “We really enjoyed working with Aaron and Justin of Home Guru Inc. on our kitchen renovation and are thrilled with the results! They helped us to make our space more open, modern and functional. They listened to what we wanted and helped us work out the details of how to get there. As with any renovation, especially one where you are opening up and taking down walls, there were some surprises and setbacks, but Aaron and Justin worked diligently to help us attain our goals and try to stay within our budget. The thing we appreciated most about Home Guru was that we felt they were trustworthy and were always trying to do things in our best interest. We were never worried that they were trying to rip us off, cut corners, or give us the run around. They were reachable and easy to communicate with. One of their areas of expertise is in "smart" home automation, which we decided to incorporate into our reno. We adore the programmed lighting that adds to the mood of our space. Our favourite elements would be the in-ceiling speakers that we've added to the kitchen, living room, bedroom and backyard. We can now play or stream music all over house depending on our location and mood. Music is a big part of our lives and has become a part of our children's lives as well. Our new open-concept kitchen has improved the flow of our house and the overall feeling of the space. The kitchen looks beautiful and the cabinets and countertops are of high quality. “We came to Mark with a need to re-design our laundry room into a configuration to include a mud room with accessibility and safety being the priority. Given the space was oddly laid out and space limited, it took some creativity. Also, we needed to modify our powder room bathroom and 1 upstairs bathroom to suit the special needs person however keeping home integrity. Tall order. Mark and company delivered incredible results! We cannot review them high enough. The contractors used were professional and friendly. Rob, the main tradesman, is an artist in his work. Mark managed the project skillfully and timely. For families looking to invest in their homes for bang on results, look no further. We found this company on homestars and opted to believe in others reviews. So grateful we did!
