She also faux finished an accent wall in my great room as well as my powder bath and we get wonderful comments from our guests when they see how we remodeled with her help. “I wanted to redecorate my room and hired Jossette Droz to do so. We spoke over the phone first and then scheduled a date to talk over some ideas, in which she provided about three or four sketches of possible options. The sketches included specific measurements of my room and the furniture she thought matched my criteria, as well as different ideas for my walls (paintings, wallpaper...) and complete with accessories (lamps, curtains, rugs, seats...). I was very pleased with the sketches and had a hard time choosing. I finally decided on one, and she went right to work. She was very responsible and kept me updated on the designs. “Decorative & Faux Finishes does incredible work. I had seen amazing examples of their work in the homes of my friends, so I hired them to paint my kitchen cabinets as part of a remodeling project. The kitchen cabinets was a big job, but Cindy and Danna worked so efficiently they finished the job surprisingly fast. I had actually told Cindy and Danna that I had seen the look I wanted in a model home. They went to that model home to see what I had in mind, a French Country look . They created a few sample boards so I could consider some options before making the decision. The results were just what I had envisioned, and everyone who comes to my home loves them. While they were working on the kitchen cabinets, I asked Cindy to help me select paint colors for a few rooms where I was having trouble finding the right colors. I had been struggling with the colors I had selected because they clashed with furnishings, and in the case of the bathrooms, the granite coutertops. Cindy used a color wheel and in 15 minutes had the colors selected for the various areas in my house. I was a little skeptical because she made it looked so easy! I went ahead and purchased the paint colors she recommended and they were perfect. One of the bathrooms was especially difficult given the granite countertop and I had tried no less than four paint colors trying to get it to just look passable. The color Cindy recommended, actually enhanced the granite. Paint is such a simple (and relatively inexpensive) thing but can make such an impact. As they were finishing up my kitchen cabinets, they noticed that the painters who had painted the walls missed the wall under the desk (the kickspace). Before I knew it, they had located that can of paint and painted the space for me. I did not ask them to do this, they were just nice enough to take the initiative.
