“AJ and his team remodeled our primary bathroom last fall, and did an excellent job - the quality of the workmanship is outstanding and met our exacting standards (I’m an engineer and my wife is an architect who did the design for our bathroom). AJ specifically was excellent to work with, great communication through the entire process from estimate to contract to work scheduling. He sent us texts every morning with the plans for the day/week and if any changes came up he was quick to alert us. He still checks in with me to make sure no issues have come up since they completed their work (nothing has). The crew was also very nice and respectful of our space during the remodel, they always left the job site clean and as tidy as possible each day. They stayed mostly on schedule, and we encountered only a few issues that had to be fixed. But I’ve done enough work on my 125 year-old house to know that nothing goes perfectly. And when issues did arise, AJ was quick to take responsibility and fix the problems with no questions asked. I don’t know what else you can ask for from a contractor. I got 4 estimates for my bathroom and AJ was very competitive on price and I could just tell he cared about working with quality materials and that’s what sold me on his company. We used handmade tile that a lot of contractors mess up when installing, and AJ and his tile guys were familiar with the product and took all the extra steps to install it correctly. The work speaks for itself, and we’re very happy with the project and feel we got great value for our investment. Everyone who comes into our house remarks about how beautiful the bathroom is. I would have no hesitation hiring Canseco Construction again or recommending them to friends.”

“Great experience, high value, very reliable and best crew we ever worked with. Mayer’s construction did a home remodeling for us during the last 6 months. It has been a big home remodel for us that took design and build as well. After months spending finding the right company for us, we have choose to work with Mike & Nathan Mayer from Mayer’s construction. A week after finalizing contract we started working with Su & Luis both company’s architect and engineer. We worked on the new plans we agreed and wanted at first and started to have architect drawings ready, when we got into engineering process, both Mayer’s construction and us didn’t know we were suppose to redone so much of the existing footings and reinforce of additional walls as 20 years ago we did a 2nd story addition that was probably made poorly and unprofessional. They were extremely kind and helpful and kept the price as we agreed on and didn’t changed a thing. The plan process and measurements took about a month or so, and finally we were able to submit the plans to the city of San Jose. After getting the permits done and job card set ( overall 5 months of waiting / SJ is a pretty busy city) we got into work schedule and been ready to move out as the entire home going to be demolished. Mike was very organized both managing and scheduling the team, rough materials arrivals, and to us to be fully briefed with details and what we need and when. The process of work was great and on timeline , city did changed a lot during this time period with their inspection delays but it didn’t interrupt with our schedule or timeline due to great management ahead. We just finished our work and we absolutely in love with our new home! New flooring throughout, new kitchen, new bathrooms, complete open floor plan, new stair case, new rooms reconfigured, new paint, new texture, new windows and sliding doors throughout, all new plumbing and electrical. A brand new and beautiful home we got thanks to Mayer’s construction and the team, Mike, Nathan, Raul, Jose and many more who had a added value and did this work absolute best.”

“Working with Ofir and her crew was a great pleasure for us. They were very sincere and discovered a different technique to do the task, which allowed them to stay under budget. “Ca Bear is the best, for so many reasons. The first project we did with them was a complete kitchen remodel December 2020. We took down walls, opened up our entire layout and had the best experience ever. A few things that stuck out to us: The speed at which work was completed. So efficient, and that matters when you’re spending a lot of money. Everyday ended with a shop vac sweep and our home was left as clean as it could possibly be. The creative vision that Brenda had for us. I don’t have that lens so thank god for her! The communication that Brenda provided us each day, we always knew what was happening and if there were any changes. Her management was key. Our kitchen was completed 2.5 years ago now, and everyday we sit there and say, “we love our kitchen.” We just love it! After the kitchen we did a closet remodel, again, awesome. Salvador is an incredible wood worker and again, Brenda make the whole process so smooth. A year ago we did a basement and laundry room conversion into a bedroom and laundry/full bathroom. We couldn’t be happier. Everything is still looking amazing, the quality of work is superb. We are so happy. I take my referrals seriously, and I back CA Bear while heartedly. They’re good people, trustworthy and hard working. And to me that matters the most.”
