“We had no prior relationship with Oakwood, but were impressed with the quality of staff that we dealt with, from the first contact through to the finished renovation. We needed a variance to be allowed to obtain the proper permits and John Liptak, owner of Oakwood was instrumental in obtaining this on our behalf. Without his personal interest in our renovation, we would not have proceeded with the project. John also gave us the benefit of his years of experience with various suggestions for our room. Our design specialist was wonderful, offering many unique ideas for us to consider, always offering various solutions to meet our budget. We particularly love the windows and paneling in our great room. The quality of the work was top notch. The wood craftsman assigned to our project did an exceptional job on the ceiling beams and the paneling. Dave’s work makes this room so beautiful and unique. The project manager was very knowledgeable and worked on our behalf to make sure that all the little details were dealt with to our satisfaction. Trent was very responsive to our needs and concerns. We can speak to Oakwood’s integrity and professionalism. They wanted the addition to be a room that we would be take pleasure and pride in for many years to come. We truly marvel at the room each day when we enter it. We are very satisfied with our experience and relationship with Oakwood.”

“Total Home has done several jobs for us over the years. From crown moulding, to built in custom shelves to our most recent project - a total makeover of our ensuite - which now has WOW appeal. Cindy Charbonneau helped me pick colours and select tile. With her partner, Gilbert Lutes, they planned the layout and those small details that make the difference. Gilbert co-ordinate the work of a couple of trades and completed the construction and tiling himself. We highly recommend them for your next project!”

“Rob and the team at Holland Homes were the ideal choice for our kitchen renovation. Rob is meticulous, and he prepared a cost estimate for the kitchen tear down, fireplace removal, electrical, drywall, ceiling refinish, plumbing, gas line installation, floor rehabilitation and refinishing, and backsplash installation. We received an itemized quote, and we were well within our target budget. Rob also brought all his professionals to our house prior to the work, so that they could see what needed to be done, and so that they could add their own comments about any issues. The level of preparation for the job put us at ease from the first day. As we worked through the renovation, Rob visited the site regularly to inspect the work, and to keep us apprised of the next tasks. All the gentlemen (and lady) who came to the house to work were excellent! Very respectful of the fact that we work from home, they kept noise and mess to a reasonable level, and were thorough in their clean-up prior to leaving. Rob provided recommendations on suppliers, and personally intervened when we ran into a couple of delivery issues. At the end of the project, Rob came back to review his team's effort. Again, he became involved in the completion of the "last mile", those little items in any large project that seem to defy completion! We are absolutely thrilled with the results of our project, and we would recommend Holland Homes and Renovations to anyone looking for a quality result.”

“We had the pleasure of working with Tonya and her amazing team on a project we headed up at the local Ronald McDonald House. To say that we were more than impressed with their professionalism was an understatement. Their team worked closely with us and helped us create the vision we had for the room renovation and the end result was simply magical for any family that now gets to stay in the room. We cannot thank them enough for their quality of work but more importantly their wonderful hearts and dedication to the job at hand. “I consulted Paul Denys about a bathroom renovation project and he provided good advice, a number of options and a general cost estimate. He was knowledgeable and his approach was conversational and low-key. Subsequently, Paul and his apprentice redid a ceiling at my home. Their work was excellent, with a new ceiling and moulding that is harmonious with the rest of the house. The decision relating to the moulding was collaborative. The cost and time to do the work were within the estimated range and I am very satisfied with the result.”
