“Byron Design & Construction accomplished an excellent Award winning renovation to my 1980s house. Rory and exemplary team of sub-contractors completed project on time and budget.
A beneficial aspect before the work began was the consultation and planning process. Rory’s creative ideas led me to abandon my original plan and adopt his innovative concept which led to gutting the original house and re-orientating all rooms including the kitchen and adding a second bathroom.
The tradespersons also provided quality workmanship at a high standard of professional skills and expertise.

“My wife and I initially contacted Andrew having inspected a new house constructed by Ritz Homes in our local area. Following the initial tender submissions, Ritz Homes was selected from three prospective builders due to Andrew’s excellent up front service and guidance. I am pleased to say this was maintained throughout the project.
Andrew and his architect / structural engineer developed a set of drawings and associated documentation which were approved by Council under a Complying Development Certificate with no fuss. We were actively involved throughout the design and construction process with many design changes and modifications. Andrew was patient throughout this process and provided straightforward pragmatic advice to inform our decisions.
Andrew has a keen eye for detail and holds himself to high professional standards. His extensive experience and hands on approach ensured that the inevitable issues encountered throughout construction were resolved promptly. We were kept up to date with progress on site with regular phone calls and email correspondence.
We found the workmanship provided by Ritz Homes and the subcontractors to be of a consistently high standard. The site was kept clean and organised at all times. “Dan did an amazing job. He organised everything. Was easy to talk to. I couldn't believe how fast he got in and got the job done. The quality of his work i thought was to a very high standard. He always turned up. Money well worth spent.
We had a granny flat we had been in the process of building and hadn't done anything on it for 2 years. We needed help. We decided to find a builder who could build our deck for us. It was about 18m x 9.5m (veranda on 3 sides) and was about 2m off the ground (the ground was elevated). A friend ended up recommending Dan to us. Dan also did the veranda roof, guttering etc and wire balustrade all the way around. Looks really beautiful. I also got him to build some internal shelving, put doors on, attach towel rails, mirrors and other bits and pieces. I'm so glad we did.”
