“The contractor, Sham Wilk, was helpful from the moment we called him until the job was finished. ALWAYS kept appointments and answered every phone call from start to finish. He helped with design ideas when I was at a loss and I am 100% satisfied with all the recommendations he made during this process. When my ideas were out-of-the-box, he made sure I got exactly what I wanted. His subcontractors are the best of the best and those that supply materials are the highest of quality.. First class in every way!”

“In February 2023 I took 3 bids to tear down an old redwood deck and replace it with a Trex deck. I chose Rob Kurk Construction. His bid was very competitive. He had excellent references, great communication skills, he is professional and easy to talk with. He has good listening skills and responsive to my requests or changes. Rob and his crew built a beautiful 12'x80' Trex deck with iron railings and three flights of steps in the amount of time and price Rob had originally stated. I couldn't have been more pleased with the job they did for me and would highly recommend Rob Kurk Construction. Sincerely, Dave Howard - Diamond Springs”

“Jeff was patient and willing to work with us on a relatively small scope of work. We appreciated his proactive approach to getting the work done well. We will be sure to give him a call for similar work in the future.”

“I have used Adam for three jobs now. Once, as President of an HOA, where an exterior wall needed replacement. One of the unit owners was a highly respected and demanding architect; Adam was the first contractor who satisfied him. We then used him for a bathroom remodel, which was an infinitely better experience in terms of budget overruns, fit and finish, service and timelines to our previous bathroom remodels. Having watched too many episodes of HGTV, we bought a fixer. Adam looked it over with us, and then proceeded to over deliver on expectations every step of the way. Adam is sort of like a combination of Nordstroms and Holmes of Holmes on Homes. Any problems that you, the customer, has, he will fix. And there will be no bogus shortcut code violation techniques, not ever. His subcontractors are premium, and he knows when and how to keep in touch both personally and online. His budgets are realistic, and change orders are transparent and timely. He provides design guidance, but listens carefully to owner design choices. Things always hit glitches, but I did not worry about them. They always got resolved. If you want a cheap contractor to do things without permits, look elsewhere. If you are looking for availability in a top of the line contractor, I would check Throne Builders out.”

“Jim Mault from Snowline Construction is a true professional. Jim is a honest no-BS type of builder. He will give you his true professional opinion regardless on any project. There are so many parts of building that he takes care of from consultation to investigation, building permits, permit review, practicality of design, experience, etc.. I would highly recommend Jim if you need an addition, a custom home (from which he specializes) or a custom log home (which I did). If you want someone who is honest and trustworthy, I would recommend Jim to you. However, please don't take advantage of Jim to get free design work or a free build. I have known Jim for over 13 years and he has done several builds for me with the utmost integrity and dedication.”

“Randy was very professional to work with. All work was completed within budget and on time. All work was done to code regulations. Randy walked us through the entire project showing where we could obtain necessary product at the best price. The work Randy did for us included remodel of two bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, and living room. He completely gutted bathrooms and kitchen, installing knotty pine ceilings, kitchen cabinets and flooring. Randy has completed other upgrades to our home as well. He will always be our “go to” contractor.”

“I highly recommend this company. William did a great job of fixing our broken sink (under granite, which was not easy to get in there) and other fixes in the house. Really knowledgeable, trustworthy and affordable.”

“We can't say enough great things about Rem - he LISTENS well, communicates well, has great ideas, does what he says he'll do, stays within budget, backs up his work. He remodeled our kitchen, which entailed removing 3 walls including 2 that were load-bearing, so he had to reinforce footings and add beams. He and his helper did all the structural, electrical, plumbing, drywall and painting, and even installed the propane heating stove to connect up to our existing chimney. The only jobs he contracted out were building the cabinets and installing the engineered wood flooring. He got us a great price on the quartz countertops. He went through the whole permitting process with the City of Placerville, which included installing new toilets and showerheads for reduced water flow. My husband likes to see the numbers, so he sent him spreadsheets. I was worried about the distance between the island and the counter, so he made plywood models we could move around to get the placement right. Virtually all of his suggestions were great (and a couple we didn't follow we now wish we had!). He gave us plenty of advance notice about when decisions had to be made so we didn't feel rushed, and gave us suggestions about where to find what we were looking for. He exceeded expectations, and made the whole process fun. We love the results!!!”

“We hired Sam and his team to completely replace one deck, and repair another, per pest report issues. Not only was Sam prepared to work with a real estate deal, his bid was competitive, and was chosen for his overall professionalism, word of mouth recommendation, and visual inspection of other projects, including new home construction. Everything was beautifully done- his crew arrived daily, even shoveling snow off dirt in order to pour footings in very cold temperatures. Progress was very timely with no delays at all. His choice of woods for the deck reflected hand-selected care. His suggestions for improving the design of the original deck to be replaced were spot on. We would hire him again if needed, and highly recommend him.”
