“Because of Chicago's requirements for window installations above the third floor and because I had a small job (2 widows to be replaced), I was having difficulty finding a vendor. One place I called suggested I try Houzz. I did and Houzz referred me to The Smart-House Guys, Inc. I couldn't be more pleased. I met with the CEO who showed me the various options in the window catalogue, and he had samples of the different high performance glass options. After making the selections, the order was processed quickly. The price is very reasonable. The installation crew is very professional and they completed the work in a reasonable amount of time, They cleaned up well after themselves. I highly recommend The Smart-House Guys, Inc. I intend to sue them for future projects as well and have recommended them to my friends and family.”

“MIchelle was very on top of things when it came to ordering custom rusticated doors and hardware. From coordinating deliveries from overseas, to assuring all materials made in America fit accordingly with the materials which came from other countries. “We hired HomeStory of Chicago to change out all of our interior doors in our 1895 farmhouse. Not only did they have the type of door we were looking for to add to the integrity of the home, but the quality was amazing. It's been several months since the install and the doors look great, really made a high impact to the house with minimal cost compared to what other remodeling projects might run you. Dan and his crew were a pleasure to work with and extremely professional. We had a small issue with one door not staying closed and Dan sent out one of his guys the same day to get it fixed. We would highly recommend their services to friends and family. We continue to get compliments on the doors and people can't believe it when we tell them about the technology used to remove only the existing doors and not the entire door with frame. Saved us time, money, and a lot of dust!”
