I love this house, especially the interior. The decor is terribly interesting yet warm and welcoming. I would guess that the occupants are well traveled; no doubt they brought back many items shown here. Lovely, interesting, and fun. Great job!

You hit it on the button ... they are a wonderful couple, well traveled, and in fact we started this design project with an unusual parameter - a very tall and old door they brought back from Egypt! The Lady of the house is a wonderful artist, so it was really fun working with great and fun and creative ideas. She was on the scaffolding to personally texture the plaster walls and stipple-paint them.

You need something more OTT. How about a totally Baroque, glossy black, ornate oval? See "18" Baroque mirror" in Houzz Shop for examples. (Some are lime green- ignore that. :-))

Hi. It's looking really good and you've done well with the bookshelves! ! I love the new sofa! I would say just a tad more yellow if your husband can bear it, doesn't have to be solid yellow. I'd add something else on the left shelves (I'd move one shelf of photos to the right hand shelving and swap for some books), maybe a ginger jar if you can get an old one. Maybe a patterned throw or cushion for your wooden chair and a small yellow throw for the bench just draped over the corner. Table idea sounds great. Are you happy with it? I think it's made such a big difference
