8 years agoI would get a dresser at LEAST 80" long. Then place it with the right edge even with the right edge of the TV. That would allow you to place or hang something on the left side to balance the TV. Kind of like this is pirate on photo, only the other direction.
Is the TV at the right height? This picture makes it look high on the wall, but I am sure you checked for viewing comfort from your bed.

Comments (13)Hi Rubypumps. Unfortunately you have made the common mistake of mixing undertones. I see this a lot as a colour consultant. Mistakes with your hard finishes are the worst kind because they are very costly to change. Right now your walls have a pink undertone and your walls behind the tub and counter are clearly blue grey. Since blue is complementary to pink, it brings out the pink in the tile even more and the clean blue makes the tile look dirty. It may be hard for you to see this, but this is what's happening and this is probably why you don't like your bathroom. Since you chose such a busy mosaic, it has become the boss (and focal point) of the room and I would now keep your other finishes as simple as possible. If you can, down the road, change the beige tile. Because unfortunately, there is no magic colour combination that will make it disappear. Working with what you have, I would most likely go with a more neutral cabinet like Uniboard G21 Viva Walnut. It will help warm up the space. Comments (5)Hi Trishtham, you can consider to have a see through TV feature wall or a glass panel wall with lower part as your TV console to create the location for TV and space for wall outside bedroom 2 as the location for sofa. If You want a spacious living room space, can even consider to extend the study room wall to push the TV feature further towards dining area....See More

8 years agoI am redecorating all but the wall color and the shutters. So, I am ordering a tufted headboard that is very tall with a platform bed frame in grey linen, with white duvet & pillows. I need 2 large side tables as the room is large at 20 x 16 and then in the curved window area I am putting 2 chairs and a small table between. My hope was to use white lacquer instead of black as we live in FL and don't want a heavy look. But I am totally open to suggestions! Oh, and do you think the dresser has to match the side tables? Cause I really like this night stand as it's 36 x 32H.. the dresser is only 58 inches that matches! So way too small for under my tv.

8 years agoNo your dresser does not have to match. If you get a white or even a mirrored dresser, consider a black shade for lamp by TV.

8 years agoWe recently completed a job where the TV was mounted off center to the room. By adding a small TV bench that can hold books and other items completed the area right below the TV, while adding a bit of color. To fill the area to the right and left of the TV space, we mounted pictures the client owned.
