These cabinets are made by Atlantis Outdoor Kitchens from a durable white material called Permatek. The door style is Key Largo. They specialize in oudoor kitchens and have many styles available. Let us know if we can assist you.

Your second photo brings me right to the stairwell scene in Hitchcock's "Vertigo," although I realize I'm looking up, not down. It's really rather wonderful. I'm just wondering, looking to the upper left in particular, if it's been recently checked out by a structural engineer. As for paint, I'll be interested to see what others say. For me, who doesn't do a lot of white, I think I actually would stay with a white here. A muddy green might be nice as well, but you'd need to incorporate a bit of lighting -- perhaps uplighting along the beams unseen from below, with something amazing hanging from that cool, crazy peak you have. I would seriously consider replacing the cabinets before putting a new granite countertop on them. The problem is that no one will remove the countertop at a later date if you want to change the cabinets, due to the possibility of breakage. The only choice you will have then is a reface. Adding new doors, drawer fronts, and veneered sides is just a facelift. You could also add new hardwood drawers with undermount cushion close slides, but by the time you do this if will be the same cost as new cabinets now. The cabinets you have now, frameless, particle board sides are notorious for having the hinge screws strip out the particle board they are attached to. Since you can't put a longer screw in them, because the material is only 3/4" of an inch thick you have a problem. You also can't put a wider screw in them because it won't fit through the pre-drilled holes in the hinges.

I understand the look and would possibly compromise by bringing a white and brown striped curtain into play. This would add verticality and tie your wallpaper and white cabinet into the decor. When open you would have subtle brown and white stripes, and when closed a continuation of the wall pattern

In looking at the other Q and A's I think the color of the island is BM Hale Navy and the color of the glass cabinets is BM Harbor Gray. Is that correct? Also, what color white did you use for the rest of the cabinets? Thanks so much for sharing. This kitchen is beautiful.
