Need help with living room lighting!

I'd love some suggestions on what type of lighting for my living room ceiling. In between beams are already wired, track lights?, pendants? Chandeliers? ...

maybe a high upholstered banquette directly across from the kitchen? It will create a nice definition of space and can fell very luxurious. A banquette is also a great space saver. and often seats more people than a standard chair at a table If you use a long pedestal table you can slide it under the seat of the banquette when not in use. That leaves a wider path for you to get to the living room area by the windows.

I was hoping to see a photo because I thought maybe there are other options than curtain dividers. If you say that the space is not that big, I think it should not be closed with curtain dividers. It could stay open but separated with a sofa table with a vase or a lamp.

Go big or go home.

What I mean is that you have a gorgeous ceiling and great picture window, your lighting should highlight these features. Yet, please no track lighting.

Wow! That is exactly what my best friend said. My husband doesn't want anything "hanging" down but I disagree and LOVE the photos and ideas you've given. They gorgeous and exactly what I was hoping for! Thanks so much.
