Looking for Granite Countertops!

I am renovating a foreclosure to make it ADA accessible so that I am able to move in. I have a rare genetic disorder called Ehlers Danlos Syndrome which has left me permanently disabled and on a strict income as I only receive disability. I am looking for a company who will be able to supply granite, plus installation, for this kitchen plan, on a budget of up to $2500. Please advise. Thank You.

Hi, We suggest that you g⁠⁠⁠⁠o for grey (safer) or black (more "loud" and daring) laminate colours as it matches really well with the granite you have. These colours will definitely give a touch of elegance and express a modern look theme! You may also do polishing for your Granite to give it back its shine thus you will look like you have a new kitchen! I also have an overwhelming need to see something curvy, flirtatious and round in the space. Consider this when scouting for decor and accesory items (i.e. round rug, curvy fluid light fixtures). Also, would it be a complete abomination to sand down the furniture (so it looks older) or painting it a new color before upholstering to modernize it? I agree with j222b's suggestion in that the furniture and space could benefit from some eclectic coverings but perhaps a neutral fabric against a new color that could bring out the carving of the wood could work too? In my head I see a rusty orange or deep aubergine purple or rich dark green. Just a thought...

Don't know about ABET laminates, but grew up with laminate countertop from a different mfg. No problems. We never placed anything hot directly on them, always used hot plates. But then again, i would never place anything hot directly on a granite counter. To nice looking...why take the chance ?

We do not handle granite slabs. I recommend Tile City or the Cutting edge in Farmington Hills. I hope this helps you.
