Thank you! I am sorry, I don't know the specifics on the tile that was used in this project. the customer purchased the tile on her own.

Hi, We suggest that you g⁠⁠⁠⁠o for grey (safer) or black (more "loud" and daring) laminate colours as it matches really well with the granite you have. These colours will definitely give a touch of elegance and express a modern look theme! I would seriously consider replacing the cabinets before putting a new granite countertop on them. The problem is that no one will remove the countertop at a later date if you want to change the cabinets, due to the possibility of breakage. The only choice you will have then is a reface. Adding new doors, drawer fronts, and veneered sides is just a facelift. You could also add new hardwood drawers with undermount cushion close slides, but by the time you do this if will be the same cost as new cabinets now. The cabinets you have now, frameless, particle board sides are notorious for having the hinge screws strip out the particle board they are attached to. Since you can't put a longer screw in them, because the material is only 3/4" of an inch thick you have a problem. You also can't put a wider screw in them because it won't fit through the pre-drilled holes in the hinges.

So is it a chair and a sofa? If nothing else they are a conversation piece! No one could ever enter your room w/o saying something. I love your idea. But if you are serious, remove the like striped pillow covers, and replace them with plain any colored pillow covers or continue the fun & add a zig zag black & white area rug & one or two more striped items, such as lamps & a painted zebra coffee table. I love it.

you painted that? it's stunning! you can do a lot with just a rug. I have 2 toddlers 2.5 yrs old and 19 months old. and I used a low pile indoor/outdoor rug from Walmart. it was like 40$ for a 5x8. it was soooooo easy to clean even when it was blackberry stains! if you really don't want a to buy a rug there are a ton of DIY area rugs on pintrest where you take a cloth and tape it to a non slip pad, then toss it in the wash! brilliant right? you can definitely use 2 big pillows, the have a mustardy/yellow one at ikea (you can wash the covers and switch them too) and maybe a couple small accent pillows. but LOVING the painting...and I wish it was mine..K bye lol! :)
