How to make my condo look bigger and more appealing

I have a one bedroom condo unit that is listed in airbnb. Please help me how to make this more appealing to attract more renters.
Im thinking if I install a mirror to make it looks bigger (but where) and maybe change furnitures.
Photos of the unit attached also the lay-out.

Comments (9)Hi Rachel, This is quite easy to fix. Firstly I would brighten the space up with a white paint such as Nippon Violet Whispers (warm white), this will give you a good base to work from. Then I would replace your table with one that is larger. This table is too small to be useful and is making your entrance feel small. I recommend using teak and keeping this console table simple in design. On the wall I would place artwork - the bigger the better as this will make a dramatic statement. Then add some lighting (table lamp on console table) and decorative items and voila your entrance will be instantly chic! I have mocked up two options for you - one is based on blues, the other pinks, so depending on your preference you can go either way. Is the bedroom wall a structural, load-bearing wall? Do you intend to entertain? But what an interesting space you have, and especially if you are living alone, there's so much potential to transforming it into your own pretty pad! If I were you, I would swap the living space with the bedroom, that means hacking the bedroom wall open, and then erecting a wall from that point where your kitchen wall ends. Have the wall in glass, with sliding glass doors, so that you can open it up when you have guests over. And when you're alone, you'll be able to enjoy the entire length of the apartment from your bed. I will change the sofa into daybed.
The current sofa now looks bigger to my living room.

Is there any way not to remove the wall as I still wanted to have a divider between living room and bedroom.
Glass divider, maybe in future,not now due to budget :)
I saw one unit that they changed into glass divider and it really looks bigger

5 years agoHi, I agree with Gary, do a hotel setting to make it more appealing. Here’s an idea. Remove the partition, move the closet down and add a big slider freeing up the space for a spacious bedroom with lounge seating/dining by the window. Think about the tv wall where it can have a proper work desk space. And do you have balcony? Perfect !

5 years ago@arielc mine doesn’t have a balcony.
I was also now considering to remove the wall partition but then I will change it into sliding glass door divider. The door would be at the center.
