Need to know "real" colors of this rug. I need dark graphite and grey

Trying to match dining room chair fabric. So many gray rugs end up being brown/gray and I need true graphite and gray. Does this rug meet my needs?

Hi Jane,

The manufacturer lists this item as "silver" . Unfortunately, they do not provide samples of this rug, so we do not have a color reference for this piece.

If you are considering order a full size piece, you may consider ordering the 2'6'' x 8' Runner to see the true colors first.

Since you're a marriage counselor, you should probably stay away from red (the color of conflict). Light green is the most soothing color.

You already have your accent colour as your sofa pillows (log roll pillows). I would take one of them shopping with me to get a rug that has that colour in it. It doesn't need to be a lot of that colour (I love the idea of burgandy rug here...but it might be too much with your monotone scheme). You can find a large rug that incorporates that red/raspberry in it so that you have a colour that is now your accent.

So is it a chair and a sofa? If nothing else they are a conversation piece! No one could ever enter your room w/o saying something. I love your idea. But if you are serious, remove the like striped pillow covers, and replace them with plain any colored pillow covers or continue the fun & add a zig zag black & white area rug & one or two more striped items, such as lamps & a painted zebra coffee table. I love it.

Hi. It's looking really good and you've done well with the bookshelves! ! I love the new sofa! I would say just a tad more yellow if your husband can bear it, doesn't have to be solid yellow. I'd add something else on the left shelves (I'd move one shelf of photos to the right hand shelving and swap for some books), maybe a ginger jar if you can get an old one. Maybe a patterned throw or cushion for your wooden chair and a small yellow throw for the bench just draped over the corner. Table idea sounds great. Are you happy with it? I think it's made such a big difference
