Integrating balcony with the living room
Comments (6)I will include the picture once I collect the keys to the apartment. The apartment is 1400 sq ft. and it is located on the 16 th floor. The living room and the balcony floor is at the same level. The French doors, which I intend to remove, separate and protect the living room from the open balcony. But the current owner had installed aluminum casement windows at the balcony. These windows I think will provide sufficient protection from the elements, hence the idea of doing away with the French doors. The authority would not allow us to remove the three feet high concrete wall of the balcony. The idea of the platform (a) to differentiate the living room/balcony boundary, (b) to raise the floor height so one can drink tea at the balcony and admire the view too....See MoreFeature wall
Comments (19)I think the color of the wall is quite nice. Speaking about accent on the wall I could recommend a large print on aluminum which does not require framing. You can explore more options in blue collection here http://alexeirebrov.com/collections/blue or in purple collection here http://alexeirebrov.com/collections/purple Purple works well with blue... Let me know if you interested in any of the prints. (there are framing options too)...See MoreNeed help with windows and doors
Comments (1)If you're worried about wood shrinking, you can ask the builder what kind of wood he would recommend for minimal shrinking....See MoreIf you could redecorate one space, what would it be?
Comments (2)the lounge - it has relentlessly cream walls, ugly single-glazed ancient aluminium windows and burnt orange carpet. Blurgh!...See MoreShan M
