A built in entertainment center would fill that wall nicely. Here's one I worked on a few years ago that is somewhat similar to yours:

Love the open space!! Right now it looks pretty dark even though, with that sliding glass door it should seem light. I noticed there is nothing super personal in the room. I think that since the walls are bare, artwork would cheer it up significantly. Also, add some colorful throw pillows for the furniture. Lighter colors that would go nice with your furniture would be great! A floor lamp is also an option if you want more light.

Hi 4evazx, I believe that you had given your designer a good and clear brief of your wants and needs and discussed all details with your designer. Your designer has done a great job as i can see from the floor plan and lighting layout. Trust your instinct and have faith in your designer. The only thing i would recommend is that you get your 12w downlight at 4000k. This is a natural daylight glow and is great in apartments. Do post pictures of your apartment when its done. Enjoy the process.

Its a blank slate -- you can do anything. I'd probably get some nice curtains, colored throw pillows/blankets, a shelving unit/console for under your TV, a big basket (extra blankets, etc), some plants & possibly a rug to anchor your sitting area.

I don’t like the way the sofa is in front of the windows. Can you turn the sofa 45 degrees so the short end is perpendicular to the tv, and move the recliner to the end of the short end of the sofa? If you don’t angle the recliner you will still have the same number of seats facing the tv.

The guitar should come out of the corner, maybe place it next to your bar area? And the ottoman, bring it closer to the seating area so it doesn’t look like an afterthought.

I like the feed back! What if we put TV on opposite wall from where it is? I also thought of putting arm wall lights above bar shelf

Your TV wall is very large and empty depending on your budget you can paint the wall in a contrast color and add some furniture like a wall unit.
For your windows you might consider a pattern Fabric upholstered headboard to add texture and color to the room. On the walls behind the sectional you can put large bold art prints. Some side tables of glass with chrome.

Adding a color to the TV wall. Add more accent furniture to the room. Add a top WIndow treatment. Upholstered Cornice Board. The room lacks color and texture.

By adding all these elements it will tie the room together. Have fun decorating !

I would certainly put a storage console with doors and drawers below the TV. Add a game table, round or square, for playing cards, doing jigsaw puzzles or playing board games....even for a sit-down snack. You may need a floor lamp near the table. I like to have the TV hung at eye level to a seated adult, or you can stand it on the console cabinet, I would hang a drapery panel on both sides of any windows in the room, even though you already have pull-down shades. The room needs come color, and you have plenty of empty wall space to hang some kind of art: paintings, prints, and even posters or old game boards can add color. Framed art always looks better than frameless art. I would add a coffee table in front of the sofa and small tables beside the chair and sofa for placing a drink or snack.
Use the ottoman for feet.

The room needs colour. Roman shades hung from the ceiling would help, as would art. Use a combination of floor and table lamps to create flattering light and to brighten the ceiling.
