Low kitchen island/diner?
Comments (1)Islands are usually designed at counter height so that the cook can also use the island as a part of the prep area of the kitchen. However, you can design your island low if you want. A nice table might be another option...............See MoreSize of Hob on 7ft++ Island
Comments (2)Thanks Patricia! Sink has to be on island - my only prep space! Larger sink is with single gas hob some 20 steps away outside the main kitchen. (We live in a small condominium) I attached a photo of the 23" hob. Would this be workable? I was advised to go for a larger hob and use the hob itself also as prep space, as it won't heat up. What's your opinion about that? Thanks again for your comments!...See Moreneed help on kitchen island
Comments (11)Hi, I am currently renovating my kitchen. Pictures of my tiles are below. I love wood grain cabinets. However, i am at odds as to whether I should get wood grained or solid coloured laminates. My designer told me that I can only choose from Arova n Jennings brand. He does offer EDL as well. But I do not like the solid colours from any of these laminate companies. A solid black colour will leave finger print marks easily. And I think grey is going to make my kitchen look monochromatic which I feel might get boring overtime. Some advice is really needed....See Moreadvice for layout planning in a long terrace house
