Thank you so much for the answer! I have been trying to get close to this. I love how you all got the wood grain to come out and not be hidden, like paint does. Truly gorgeous. IF I ever get it to come out the way I want it too, I promise to post pictures as a thank you for the inspiration!

Hi, We suggest that you g⁠⁠⁠⁠o for grey (safer) or black (more "loud" and daring) laminate colours as it matches really well with the granite you have. These colours will definitely give a touch of elegance and express a modern look theme! If the wood is raw, that would mean it has no stain, paint or sealer on it, in which case you would only need to sand the two years worth of use it has. If all dirt, grease, etc isn't off the piece before you whitewash it, this will show in the new finish. Sand it well, don't miss any areas, don't take any shortcuts. Then get some white stain, follow the instructions on the can, and finish with several coats of polyurethane. I find I get the very best results by using Minwax products.

I really like pale grayish sage with white. Also a cool greenish aqua for a soothing look to the bath. White or gray Corian counter. If it's a low-use bath such as a powder room, white marble would be lovely for the counter. Rug or mat on the floor with a nice pattern to hide spills, dog hair, etc. If you have a window, lovely drapes, custom shade or match-stick blinds would help warm the space. Finally, if you have a bathtub, a custom shower curtain will really dress up the space and add character/warmth. Hi. It's looking really good and you've done well with the bookshelves! ! I love the new sofa! I would say just a tad more yellow if your husband can bear it, doesn't have to be solid yellow. I'd add something else on the left shelves (I'd move one shelf of photos to the right hand shelving and swap for some books), maybe a ginger jar if you can get an old one. Maybe a patterned throw or cushion for your wooden chair and a small yellow throw for the bench just draped over the corner. Table idea sounds great. Are you happy with it? I think it's made such a big difference
