HELP NEEDED - matching color to granite top
Comments (17)Hi, We suggest that you go for grey (safer) or black (more "loud" and daring) laminate colours as it matches really well with the granite you have. These colours will definitely give a touch of elegance and express a modern look theme! You may also do polishing for your Granite to give it back its shine thus you will look like you have a new kitchen! Please do contact us in jojo@stoneamperor.com.sg and we may provide you more information and feedbacks about countertops! Cheers, Stone Amperor team...See MoreHow to choose wall colours
Comments (2)Hi Yuxian! Think about what style you're going for as you would want your paint colours to complement the furnishings to come. Also, what mood do you want to create for your whole house/each room? For instance, yellows are uplifting and cheery while greens are usually restful. Browse online for 'paint colour ideas' and save a collection of photos that appeal to you. You're likely to find great decor ideas at the same time! With that particular part of the house pictured above though, my advice is to make the most of the precious daylight coming through that window (there's just never enough sunlight in my flat! RIP, all our plants that once lived) and have this room painted in lighter hues. It's uplifting stepping in to a bright and airy home. Ultimately, follow your heart and if you love a colour, choose it!...See MoreCabinet colors
Comments (0)In looking at the other Q and A's I think the color of the island is BM Hale Navy and the color of the glass cabinets is BM Harbor Gray. Is that correct? Also, what color white did you use for the rest of the cabinets? Thanks so much for sharing. This kitchen is beautiful....See MoreWhat style rugs will work best? what colours?
Comments (2)Hi there! first I would recommend placing your sofa along the length to elongate your room. Your rug should be large enough so at least the two front legs of your sofa go over it. For low maintenance consider something with a print that will hide stains. For eg in my dining room I have a kilim that can take spills. You could also consider an outdoor rug (which you can wash) or something in a low key fabric like sisal/ jute. The latter will be inexpensive if you need to replace it. If you think that looks plain you can layer a smaller print rug over it to add textures to your room. All the best!...See MoreAlycia Lynn Chambers
