Help!! Matched wrong tiles with mosaic cove at bathtub. How can I make
Comments (7)Maybe these will help you in making lemonade out of the lemon (which I don't think it is)Where else are you putting the beige tiles? And where are you putting the mosaic.Perhaps ramping up the black in accents will legitimize the beige and blackhttps://www.houzz.com/photos/jane-lockhart-interior-design-kylemore-model-home-dublin-traditional-bathroom-toronto-phvw-vp~1267669...See Morei am bored with the look of my home!
Comments (26)Hi. It's looking really good and you've done well with the bookshelves! ! I love the new sofa! I would say just a tad more yellow if your husband can bear it, doesn't have to be solid yellow. I'd add something else on the left shelves (I'd move one shelf of photos to the right hand shelving and swap for some books), maybe a ginger jar if you can get an old one. Maybe a patterned throw or cushion for your wooden chair and a small yellow throw for the bench just draped over the corner. Table idea sounds great. Are you happy with it? I think it's made such a big difference...See MoreHow can I hide an existing column in the kitchen
Comments (5)You could use the column for something useful like hanging utensils or cooking tools if you have the height or a towel rack or if you want to just hide it you could put fairy lights on/around it to give a homely feel.my personal opinion would be if there is a ledge you should get some vintage alcohol bottles and put them there as decoration and it works nice in most households.if no ledge just get a wine rack and screw it to the column...See MoreHow to position my round table?
Comments (8)Hi 4eva zx, It's not optimum if you don't want to build a bespoke TV wall/console where I've placed the TV here (suggest that you get something where you can swivel the TV towards the sofa, or slightly extend that wall so the TV can be directly in front of the sofa), but in terms of spatial efficiency, your round table would be better placed like so: This is so that it's near the kitchen and you can use it for meals for more than two people. This placement will also allow you to make this family heirloom a visual focal point and conversation piece for your home. If you ever need to use a bigger table for gatherings with more people, you can simply put a rectangular top onto the round table and seat 6-8 people – the placement provides for space that allows this. Find a good ID or decorator who will work towards incorporating this family heirloom in your new home, and you'll be able to enjoy it for years to come. Hope this helps!...See MorePatricia Colwell Consulting
