Thanks! The trees used here are Malus toringo (Japanese crab apple), in a trained form known as 'pleached trees'

What a great room! If you enjoy the general Monochromatic feel of your room I'd go with white or silver (see 'option2' photo) and let your accent pillows do the accenting! The blue hue on the wall actually simplifies your color options. Either pull that color in through a patterned application as mentioned above (see 'option1' photo) or just stick to silver/white. I remove the water tank and wash it in warm soapy water every few days. Takes about five minutes. I also run a descaling potion through it every so often which takes about 10 minutes. I also run a little steam through the steam wand after use. That's it. There are some specialist coffee blogs that can give you lots of more detailed info, but, as you may have gathered, I love my Rancilio combo.
