These were site finished by the customer so we're not sure what product and colors they used.

Here are a few examples of modern sidewalks. I think that I would replace, stain or cover the entry sidewalk with large rectangles of concrete or stone. I would also replace the door with a more modern door. Perhaps you could just paint the door that you have but definately remove the storm door or replace it. Paint the trim & facia a charcoal color would be nice. I think in the entryway I would cover the brick with a horizontal wood plank stained in a rich color and replace the light fixture. Upgrade landscaping by putting matching tall simple pots.

Marble are non-porous thus it would cause etching and corrosion. Besides that, marble are high maintenance materials. Marble requires proper care and maintenance. Acid should never be used on marble as it shall loose its shine. Marble should be regularly polished over a period of time to give it a new look. If proper precautions are not taken the marble becomes yellowish in colour. Italian marble is usually very soft and prone to cracks. Proper resins have to be used to make the surface strong and solid and avoid further cracks. Proper sealants should be used in marble flooring as the marble is highly porous and prone to staining. It absorbs stains very quickly especially kitchen stains hence are not appropriate for kitchen counter tops. Quartz would be a better choice as quartz are non porous. In looking at the other Q and A's I think the color of the island is BM Hale Navy and the color of the glass cabinets is BM Harbor Gray. Is that correct? Also, what color white did you use for the rest of the cabinets? Thanks so much for sharing. This kitchen is beautiful.
