It's not even 10:00 am on Saturday morning and this had me in tears. I usually don't cry until later in the day but nope, tears of joy were flowing. I love how Ms. Henson loves her stepmom and the house is beautiful. I love the colors, the open design and the flow of the house. It was like the house went, "ahhhhhh" and started to breathe. The appointments were beautiful and enhanced the ambiance of the home. That kitchen?? Even my not so great cooking self would want to cook in there! What a beautiful home for a beautiful lady whose blessings were returned. Oh I adore Houzz when they feature these stories whether it's celebrities or not. Keep them coming, Houzz and Ms. Taraji Henson, girl, you are amazing. Your acting is superb, you are beautiful but your heart is huge. You're genuine and that is so refreshing especially in Hollywood. Bless you for returning the love to your beautiful stepmom. Call me girl!

Very thoughtful and a great way to show care. It was actually a great idea to take down the wall that separated the kitchen from the living room. This made it more of an open space, which made it look larger in size and less isolated. I love the color mixture in the living room of the grays and pink.

What a wonderful Mother’s Day morning watching a beautiful Mom being honored by her “daughter”. ❤️The ability to easily share every aspect of living is what transforms Houzz projects into homes. I enjoyed this story so much! Stephanie Gamble, the designer, did a wonderful job. The space looks beautiful. It was so neat to see her use some of the Houzz tools in presenting her design ideas. It was also so cool to see her incorporate personal items into the design. The table Taraji's dad made is just stunning! Seeing it in this beautiful space along with photos and other artwork make it "home."

The video itself was so well done... that's part of what made the story so enjoyable to watch.
