Manzaru Bar | Anantara Kihava Villas | Maldives
Our Sunshine Butlers are always on hand with a fruit skewer or cold towel to cool you down. By day our swim-up pool bar serves exotic juices and tropical cocktails, allowing you to sip the nectar of the islands from the water’s cool embrace, before we tempt you with casual lunches of crisp salads and traditional pastas served poolside. By night Manzaru transforms into a leisurely Italian delice, where our Italian Chef unravels voyages of culinary discovery, from regional specialties skillfully crafted from traditional ingredients, to connoisseur olive oil tasting sessions.
The entire building is clad with dark Batu Candi volcanic stone, to absorb the glaring daylight sun. The lower floor houses the bar and a communal dining table constructed from one tree, 13 meters long.
The upper floor is partially covered with a Cajan roof, providing a quiet relaxing alfresco space to read during the day, enjoy a meal, or star gaze in the evening.
The backdrop wall along the communal dining table is clad with an Islamic faiance of bottle-green thickri mirror glass tiles. A traditional art form, borrowed from the palaces of Udaipur.
