Concrete can be an economical and crafty choice in lieu of salvaged wood flooring. Stamping wet concrete with plank-like wood-grain imprints creates a lovely effect.

Q

The flooring is blackbutt hardwood parquetry flooring. We have a cement slab so each piece was glued individually. We then sanded, stained to get the chocolate colour and finished with a Bona top coat sealer.
